Korean Anti-Submarine Missile (Red Shark)

세계에서 2번째로 개발된 대잠 로켓(ASROC) 미사일로, 경어뢰 사정거리 밖 원거리에서 대잠수함전 수행을 위해 수상함에서 수직발사되며, 추력 방향 조종 기술을 적용해 전방위 공격이 가능하다. 유도무기와 수중무기가 결합된 복합무기체계로 경어뢰를 유도탄에 탑재해 잠수함 위치까지 해상으로 이동 후 입수 및 잠수함을 타격하는 방식으로 대잠수함 작전 능력을 향상시켰다.

As the anti-submarine rocket missile which was developed secondly in the world, it is vertically launched from a surface ship from a long distance (19km) outside the light-weight torpedo range during anti-submarine warfare and is capable of omni-directional attack with the trust direction control technology. Long-range antisubmarine torpedo is a combined weapon system of guided weapon and underwater weapon, of which capability for anti-submarine operation is enhanced by striking enemy submarine after light-weight torpedo mounted on guided missile is moved to the location of submarine by sea, and submerged.

Wire-Guided Heavyweight Torpedo (Tiger Shark)

중어뢰-II 체계(범상어)는 장보고-II/III급 잠수함에 탑재하여 적 수상함 및 잠수함을 공격하는 수중 유도무기체계이다.
잠수함의 전투체계와 연동하여 운용된다. 범상어는 KSSII 잠수함의 모든 발사관에서 자영식(Self-propelled)으로 발사되고, KSS-III 잠수함의 모든 발사관에서 강제 사출식으로 발사되어 운용된다. 어뢰의 정보는 유도선을 통해 송수신하고 전투체계에서 전시할 수 있다.

Heavy torpedo Block-II is an underwater guided weapon system mounted on KSS-II/III-class submarine to attack enemy surface ship and submarine, which is interoperated with the combat management system of submarine. heavy torpedo Block-II is self-propelled from every launch tube of KSS-II submarine, and is forcibly ejected from every launch tube of KSS-III submarine; and the information of torpedo is transmitted and received via guide wires and can be displayed in the combat management system.
